The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Enjoy Valentine’s Day Celebration in Canada

On Valentine’s Day, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, visited the First Nations of western Canada. They were invited to tour the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre with Youth Ambassadors, Chief Nelson, and Wilson Williams. This visit was part of their appearance in Whistler for the Invictus Games’ “One Year to Go” event. The couple seemed to be enjoying themselves as they smiled for the camera at a cocktail reception with friends.

A Royal Fashion Statement

Meghan Markle made a fashion statement on this visit, sporting an all-black outfit that included a collarless black buttoned blouse tucked into black pants, paired with gold Bottega earrings. Prince Harry, on the other hand, opted for a casual look with a dark blue sweater over a button-down and blue jeans. The couple’s fashion choices garnered attention, adding to the buzz surrounding their visit.

Earlier that day, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen all bundled up for the cold winter weather in Whistler. Meghan wore bright white jeans paired with a cream top under a beige puffer jacket and lace-up boots lined with fur. Harry also donned winter attire, wearing a beanie and a black fleece over jeans. Despite the chilly weather, the couple appeared happy and in good spirits as they walked through the snowy streets hand in hand.

On February 16, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted at the Hillcrest Community Centre in Vancouver with Luisana Lopilato and Michael Bublé. The royal couple went on a double date with the other couple, dining at the Indian restaurant Vij’s. Chef Vikram Vij shared that Meghan and Harry were extremely friendly and nice during their visit. Meghan, in particular, expressed her love for spicy food, allowing the chef to choose the meal for them. The couple showed affection towards each other, with Meghan often referring to Harry as “my husband” and praising his food preferences.

A Positive Relationship Displayed

Chef Vikram Vij mentioned that he could see the positivity in Meghan and Harry’s relationship through their actions and words. Meghan’s affection towards Harry was evident, as she always had her left hand on his back and spoke lovingly about him. The couple’s visit to Vancouver showcased a loving and respectful relationship, leaving a lasting impression on those they interacted with.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s visit to Canada was filled with moments of joy, fashion statements, and displays of affection. Their interactions with the local community, friends, and culinary experiences reflected a couple deeply in love and enjoying each other’s company.
